Great Pasties, large, filling, and delicious. I tried the veggie as well as a dessert one (blackberry). They don't skimp on ingredients here. Always a MUST DO when in the area.

Jean Kay’s Pasties are definitely among my top 5 favorite pasty shops in the UP! The lady working was very nice and helpful. The pasties were delicious and filing. First time trying a steak one, very good! I bought them half baked and brought them home to cook. My house smelled so good for hours after …

If you are from the UP, you know pasties are the great comfort food with alot of history dating back to the miners. If you are from this area it's a big debate of which place offers the best pasties. I am lucky my wife is from Iron Mountain Michigan and had an opportunity to stop by Jean Kay's. There are several in the area but I would have to say Jean Kay's is one of the best. The pasties are made fresh with good quality ingredients. The crust is super flaky. I ended up getting 8 pasties to bring back to VA. A must stop if you are in Iron Mountain. Don't take my word for it. Try a pasty and find out.

OMG! Food for the soul! Such a variety and such good food. And, the nicest people you will EVER meet. We have been coming here since 1994. The food is just as good as ever. It is so good that we planned a stop in Iron Mountain, Michigan, during our 50th wedding anniversary, North America RV vacation. So, after 14,500 miles, 2 months in Canada, 1 month in Alaska, and continuing with our return to SC, we made our rondevu and stocked up. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Fantastic! We were in from Maryland and never had one before. We got the chicken and broccoli pasty and the steak pasty. Flavorful and moist inside...and the dough was fantastic, light and tasty. The gravy was delicious too! Must have!

My girlfriend and I wanted to try a pasty from somewhere we've never been, and Jean Kay's flank steak and rutabaga pasty was filling and delicious!
